This wedding is going to be a very memorable one to me because it’s the first time that I’ve covered a Romanian Wedding, and the first time that I’ve shot in a ceremony where the language used was one that I cannot understand! It was definitely a challenge because I’m used to reacting to events as the celebrant/priest/pastor/host would give me clues as to what’s happening next by what they say, but when I can’t understand what’s being said, I always had to be on my toes and be very observant with what was happening all around me. Challenge accepted! 🙂 Everything went well, and regardless of the language barrier, love and joy are emotions that you just feel, and there was certainly an abundance of this between John and Denisa, all throughout their special day. I had a great time with this awesome couple, not only were John and Denisa gorgeous on the outside, but they were lovely people on the inside. I couldn’t have asked for a bridal party that was more fun and creative as this bunch. The couple’s ceremony was held at the Romanian Pentecostal Chruch in Balga, followed by location shoots at UWA, City Beach, and Hyde Park – which is lovely this time of the year – followed by their reception at the Rendqzvous Grand Hotel in Scarborough. Check out all the photos on this blog as this set is definitely one of my best so far! ~ Ramil
